Dathan Derek McHugh, 46, a lifelong resident of Smithfield, OH, passed away suddenly Dec. 13, 2022. Dathan was born to Gerald Dale and Norma (Phillips) McHugh on Aug. 7, 1976. He was a 1995 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and was an assistant kitchen manager at Outback in St. Clairsville, OH. Dathan spent his free time riding his Harley with his brother and friends and attending Wheeling Nailer Hockey games.
