Betty Jeanne (Vargo) Wharton, 85 of Colerain, OH passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gocsik) Vargo. She worked for many years at the Total Sports Connection in Martins Ferry, and the Martins Ferry Chamber of Commerce, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary – Martins Ferry Post #38. Debra was a 1971 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. She enjoyed spending time with her class on their monthly outings. Debra was a manager for King’s Jewelry. Donna Marie Peltz, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1947, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph and Helen (Mistak) Mazgaj. Donna enjoyed bingo, polkas, traveling to Vegas, the Pittsburgh Pirates and her little dog, Millie. She was a member of two bowling leagues. Donna retired as a Credit and collection Manager after 40 years at EORH and OVMC.
