Therapy dog brightens students’ day

CHILDREN OF all ages got to spend time with a furry friend when Simon the therapy dog visited the School of Bright Promise. The 8-year-old pointer/pitbull mix is owned by Principal Jane Bodo and was trained through Destiny Dogs of Pottery Addition. Bodo said he has come to the school for the past four years to bring comfort and smiles to the students and she planned to bring him each month. Simon is pictured with Bentley Miller, a 3-year-old preschooler at the school.
