Chuck and Linda Schleicher of Martins Ferry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

They were united in marriage at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Wheeling.

Chuck is the son of the late Fred and Sarah (Beech) Schleicher of Valley Grove. Chuck is retired from Carpenters Local 3.

Linda is the daughter of the late Harold “Dutch” and Martha Becker of Wheeling.

They have one son, Chuck Jr., and his wife, Beth Schleicher. They have two grandchildren: Hannah (James) Green of Senecaville, Ohio, and Von Schleicher of Martins Ferry.
