Timothy (Tim) and Linda Criswell of Barton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11. They were united in marriage on Sept. 11, 1971, in the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints with Tim’s grandfather, who was a minister, officiating the vows. Linda is the daughter of the late William (Bill) and Edna Foster. Linda retired as a cleaning lady with Klean Sweep where she worked for many years. They were united in marriage Aug. 14, 1971, in the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Hubert Barnett officiating. Tina is the daughter of the late Clyde (Pete) and Marie Clark Hudson. She is a retired teacher from Ohio County Schools. Joe is the son of the late Edward and Sadie Klimek Koler. Dr. Fritz and Heidi Durig Heiby of Zanesville are celebrating their 25th anniversary. They were married on Aug. 3, 1996, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. Heidi is the daughter of Gloria and the late Dr. James Durig. She is a homemaker, teacher and author. Several of her books have been published. Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Christie Wehr Sr. are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on July 4. They were married on July 4, 1991, by the Rev. Wayne Ickes. They have three children: Junior and Shannon Wehr of Bethesda; Jennifer and Doug Miller of Neffs; and Robert Richards and Pam Fagan of Bannock. They have five grandchildren: Waytt Wehr, Kimberly Wehr, Lily Runyan, Zac Coleman and Stacey Coleman. They also have four great grandchildren, Anabelle, Payton, Adrian and Hayden.

William and Esther Kettlewell are observing their 60th wedding anniversary on June 13. They were wed on June 13, 1961, in East Richland Friends Church by the Rev. Wayne Ickes. Bill was employed at Foxes Repair Service for 16 years before going to R&L Coal for 25 years. They are the parents of Sharon (Randall) Whitacre of Bethesda and Roger (Chrissy) Kettlewell of Dublin, Ohio. They are grandparents to Andrew (Kayla) Mathias of St. Clairsville.
