Bellaire High School Thespians to ‘take over’ libraries with performances

BELLAIRE — The Bellaire High School Thespians will present “The Toys Take Over Christmas” at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Shadyside Public Library and 6 p.m. Thursday at the Bellaire Public Library.

A canned goods donation is requested for admission. Children’s games, a singalong, face painting and light refreshments are included with the play.

Cast No. 1 will perform at the Shadyside library and includes Bryson Cash, Libby McGuffin, Andi Paynter, Cameron Ross, Tanner Schmidli, Cassidy Garloch, Pat Matthews, Ashley Speece, Kate Beck, Iris Rogers and Jadon Bellville.

Cast No. 2 will perform at the Bellaire library and includes Mike Funkhouser, Jessica Bocook, Lili Back, Nova Smathers, Benny Mounsey, Steven Street, Ethan Browne, Josette Boston, Caitlin Silber, Emily Harbaugh, Iris Rogers and A.J. Bennett.

Face painters are Alexis Nice, Noah Santee, Robert Alderman, Nova Smathers, Rachel Richmond, Carly Gillia and Brandon Hakr. Technical crew is Chris Morgan. Stage manager is Jackie Mounsey. The productions are directed by teacher Ed Street.
