Recipe Corner

This week’s recipe is a casserole featuring two corn-based ingredients.

Corn Casserole


1 stick of margarine or butter

2 cans creamed corn

1 box corn bread mix

2 eggs

1 (8 ounces) container of sour cream

Grated cheddar cheese


Melt margarine. Mix all other ingredients except cheese. Add margarine; mix well. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Variation: Omit cheese. Add one can Mexicorn, drained. Bake one hour.
