Student from St. C. recognized

WOOSTER, Ohio — Kathleen Hans of St. Clairsville has been recognized as an outstanding student at the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Wooster Campus — Agricultural Technical Institute.

She graduated May 8 with an associate of applied science degree in landscape horticulture.

Hans was active on campus with ATI’s Landscape Club, for which she served as vice president during the 2020-21 academic year. During her freshman year, she served as an Ohio State Welcome Leader.

Hans completed an internship with the Ponzani Landscape Co. in St. Clairsville. She has been offered full-time employment there as a landscape designer following graduation.

Ohio State ATI is located on the Wooster, Ohio, campus of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. In keeping with the Ohio State University’s land grant mission, ATI provides affordable, accessible associate degree programs that lead directly to employment or bachelor’s degrees.
