West Liberty University’s inaugural Aspire U Music, Art & Community Festival is May 3
West Liberty University’s inaugural Aspire U Music, Art & Community Festival takes place Saturday, May 3 from 11a.m. — 6 p.m. on the University’s campus.
This free public event features live music, crafters, food trucks, raffles, and activities for children.
Funds raised during the event will support the West Liberty Lions Club Family Support Center (WLLCFSC).
Music Lineup:
1pm: Epiphany
Epiphany is a small-town artist with big city dreams. Her music fuses the power of Adele, the energy of Lady Gaga, and the vulnerability of Noah Kahan. She captures listeners with her dramatic pop-nostalgia sound and storytelling.
2:05pm: Making State
Making State is a 3-piece American Pop-Rock band from State College Pennsylvania. They have shared the stage with national touring acts, have been featured on national broadcast radio stations, and their music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other major streaming platforms.
3:10pm: Sons of the Valley
A 3-member band playing Country, Blues, and Jazz. Members include frontman Chase Burdick, sophomore music education major and esteemed saxophonist. Bassist Mason Stoll, sophomore music education major and esteemed thespian. Drummer/pianist is Ken Kittell, a sophomore music education major.
4:15pm: Pyramid
Pyramid is a 3-piece classic rock/top 40 band from the Ohio Valley that has been performing together for over 20 years.
Playing a wide variety of music ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, and 3 Doors Down to Godsmack and Saliva.
5:20pm: Ursa Major
Ursa Major is the product of the Rock & Pop Ensemble class led by Dr. Matthew Harder.
The band performs a variety of hits and deep cuts from rock and pop genres across many decades.

West Liberty University’s Aspire U initiative is a leadership and development program whose mission is to develop and retain current talent, as well as foster an environment of learning and career development for future leadership.
The West Liberty Lions Club Family Support Center (WLLCFSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth and families throughout the Ohio Valley.
Operating out of West Liberty University, the WLLCFSC provides comprehensive resources and mentorship programs designed to empower teens, strengthen family units, and build community resilience. With a focus on educational support, leadership development, and wellness, the center serves as a vital bridge between families and the services they need to thrive.
