BARNESVILLE — Micheal Shaheen, attorney and owner of Shaheen Law Group LLC, said he has always had a strong work ethic and pride in his community, and those factors combined to prompt him to open a new satellite office in the western part of Belmont County.

After 28 years of practicing law, Shaheen opened a new law firm in Barnesville. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday and the office was opened to the public with catered food and beverages. Shaheen already has an established law firm in St. Clairsville and said he is now happy to be a part of the Barnesville community. He is excited to expand his law firm and cannot wait to see what is in store for the Barnesville office.

The staff of Shaheen Law Group LLC said they love working for the firm and that Shaheen has been understanding of their lives outside of their career. His wife, Robyn Shaheen, works at the St.Clairsville office, where he can adjust her schedule according to the demands of caring for their children. Shaheen said he takes this approach for all of his employees, because he understands how it is to have a family and other situations that life can bring. Shaheen believes this helps the firm by creating an environment his attorneys love to be in and will give them more incentive to assist clients in a better way. Shaheen enjoys being around his staff and loves the way they all bring something different to the table.

Shaheen said he wants to always be available for his clients so they get the best of his services.

There will be an attorney available at the Barnesville office four days a week to assist those in need of service in the western parts of Belmont and Monroe counties. These hours are in addition to those already offered at the well-established St.Clairsville office of the firm.
