TRIADELPHIA — Tony’s Spa has moved into a new, larger location at The Highlands in Ohio County.

Tony Nguyen, who co-owns the business with other members of his family, said the shop had outgrown its old location so he decided to move just a couple doors down nearer to Nini’s Treasures’ new locale.

Tony’s is situated along Wharton Circle, which is the shopping area closest to the Marquee Cinemas at The Highlands. It had its official re-opening on Friday.

The spa offers a variety of services including manicures and pedicures, massages including full-body massages, spray tanning, waxing including full-body waxing, and permanent makeup.

“We have 14 pedicure chairs. We can handle any party — we cater to the wedding parties,” Nguyen said. “Come and try us out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

Nguyen said he was pleased with the work done to get his new spa location ready by the Ohio County Development Authority, which owns The Highlands.

“They were very good to us, and the rent is much cheaper than other places. Call Greg Stewart; he did a great job,” Nguyen said, referring to Ohio County’s administrator. “This was a very good place to come. They were very fair to us.”

Tony’s has operated a spa at The Highlands since 2010.

Meanwhile, back in August, Tony’s Spa’s St. Clairsville location moved closer to the Ohio Valley Mall. Its new location, at 67765 Mall Ring Road, is situated near the new 5-Star Nutrition and SportClips in a plaza on the mall’s perimeter. Tony’s Spa in St. Clairsville offers pedicures, manicures, spray tanning and permanent makeup.

Tony’s Spa has operated in St. Clairsville since 2004.

“It’s a better location for our customers, and we have more technicians,” Nguyen said of the new St. Clairsville spot. “We have more customers now because of the location, and it’s easy to park.”

Nguyen believes his customers keep coming back because they enjoy their experience at the spa locations.

“We do everything from the heart. I treat people the way I like to be treated,” he said.

The spas take appointments, but patrons can also walk in and receive services on a first-come, first-served basis.
