At 3:39 a.m. Friday, a caller from Bel-Capre Addition in Bellaire reported to central dispatch that they thought they saw a person outside their residence. A deputy responded and checked the area, but did not locate anything.

At 2:15 a.m. Friday, deputies assisted units from the St. Clairsville Police Department with a vehicle fire after an accident on Taylor Lane in St. Clairsville.

At 9:56 p.m. Thursday, an officer on a traffic stop on Provident Road in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding and for traveling outside of marked lanes.

At 9:49 p.m. Thursday, a deputy was out with a unit from the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisting on a traffic stop on Parshall Avenue in St. Clairsville.

At 8:34 p.m. Thursday, a deputy assisted St. Clairsville Police at an address on South Marietta Street in St. Clairsville with an unruly 8-year-old who was reportedly making threats to harm his siblings. The juvenile also tried to jump out of a vehicle, according to the report. The juvenile was being transported to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital for an evaluation.

At 6:43 p.m. Thursday, a deputy responded to the area outside of Boscov’s on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a dog in a running and locked vehicle that was unattended. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

At 11:19 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an address on New Cut Road in Shadyside to serve a warrant. Contact was made with the female, who was transported back to the Belmont County Jail.
