At 11 p.m. Monday, an officer was out at an address on Main Street in Bridgeport near Pizza Hut attempting to help get a vehicle out of a snow drift.

At 7:05 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a semi was blocking the roadway near the Sleep Inn on Reco Road in Morristown. Bill’s Towing was called to the scene.

At 5:21 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on York Drive in Powhatan Point after a 911 hangup call was received from that location. This was a Windstream issue, according to the officer.

At 5:12 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Ferry Landing Road in Shadyside after a caller reported that there was a female walking up Ohio 7 wearing pink boots and a purple jacket. The officer was not able to locate the female, and central dispatch was unable to reach the complainant on call backs.

At 5:06 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Colerain Pike in Martins Ferry after a call was received about people refusing to leave the house. After the deputy arrived, he reported that a juvenile was going to stay with a friend for the night. The deputy planned to contact Child Protective Services in the morning.

At 1:26 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Crozier Ridge Road in Bellaire to check on cows after a caller reported that the animals were not being cared for. Everything was fine, according to the officer.

At 12:01 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Center Street in Colerain after a caller requested a welfare check on a female. The officer made contact with her, and all was well, according to the report.

At 8:59 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to a report of domestic trouble at a residence on Pike Street in Bellaire. A male had called stating that he needed someone there and then hung up. A female called back and stated that people were fighting. After officers arrived, one male was detained and was taken to jail. Joshua Allen Johnson was booked on a charge of domestic violence. A temporary protection order was signed, and additional information was taken for a report.

At 8:48 a.m. Monday, a deputy responded to the area of Sleep Inn Suites on Reco Road in Belmont for a report of a semi in a ditch blocking the roadway. The driver from Illinois already had a tow on the way, the report noted.
