WPD announces road closures for Fantasy in Lights parade

WHEELING — The Wheeling Police Department will implement several road closures in the Center Wheeling and downtown areas Friday for the 40th Annual Fantasy in Lights Christmas Parade. The parade returns to its traditional route this year, after spending the last couple of years traveling closer to Center Wheeling due to the Downtown Wheeling Streetscape Project. TRIADELPHIA — Robotics teams from across the nation are busy fabricating robots and strategies for the “Gateway To The West” tournament coming to Ohio County next year, but there are no more spots available.
