Taste of the Valley set April 23

ST.?CLAIRSVILLE — The Rotary Club of St. Clairsville hosted an organizational breakfast on Thursday, April 2 at Eat’n Park Restaurant at the Ohio Valley Plaza.

The Taste of the Valley will again be held at the James E. Carnes Center, 45300 Roscoe Road, St. Clairsville, on Thursday April 23, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.

The following 20 restaurants have already agreed to participate: The Vagabond Kitchen, Bob Evan’s, Domino’s Pizza, Eat’n Park, Food by Jane, Gulla’s Hot Dogs, Angel’s Sweet Treats, Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream, Kroger Deli, Muxie Distributing Company, Osaka Steak House, Riesbeck’s Catering and Deli, Ruttenbuck’s Bar and Grill, Tlaquepaque, The Cookie Jar, Tito’s Sloppy Dogs, Tim Horton’s, Centre Market Bakery and Pizza Milano.

The Taste of the Valley remains the St. Clairsville Rotary’s most important fundraiser and the event expects to draw around 600 people to this year’s don’t miss event, and it’s guaranteed no one will go home hungry.

The Taste of the Valley and other Rotary fundraisers have enabled the St. Clairsville Rotary to give back to the community in excess of $300,000 over the past 10 years by helping local projects and worthy charities in need of support.

In addition to the wonderful food that will satisfy your cravings, there will also be another popular silent auction and Chinese auction featuring scores of items donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. There will also be a cash bar open during the event.

The St. Clairsville High School Interact Club makes its return this year as the 2015 Taste of the Valley event marks its first service activity. The St. Clairsville High School Interact Club is a St. Clairsville Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14-18. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.

Tickets for this year’s Taste of the Valley remain at $25, a little over $1 per restaurant. Tickets are available for purchase from members of the club.

Tickets will also be available at the door; however, only 600 have been printed, so guests are urged to obtain tickets from a Rotarian in advance.
