Farm bureau partners to help local food pantries
Eight buyers purchased market hogs totaling nearly 1,800 pounds during September’s Belmont County Jr. Fair to donate back to Belmont County Farm Bureau for help with local food pantries. T.J. Jefferis, Buckeye Steel Inc., Bridgeport Equipment, EQT Corporation, Tim’s Custom Installation, Ascent Resources, Williams Energy and MPLX all made purchases, while J-Mo Meats in Barnesville helped with processing costs.
