MARLENE REEVES
Marlene J. (Barnes) Reeves, 81, of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Neffs, passed away at Wheeling Hospital due to COVID complications.
She was born November 4, 1939, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Martin and Rose Barnes.
Marlene was a 1958 graduate of Bellaire High School and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Captina Chapter #489.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Reeves and a brother, Martin “Sonny” Barnes.
Marlene is survived by a son Bill (Patti) Talik; a daughter Leslie (Mark) Magnone; granddaughters, Courtney (Malachi) West and Ashley (Russell) Scheiderer and a grandson her Lil Bambino Markie Magnone.
Also surviving are sisters, Carol (Edward) Figura and Beverly (Rich) Santini; two brothers, Robert Barnes and Mitchell (Pam) Barnes; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a stepdaughter Lana (George) Hickenbottom; two stepsons Eddie (Kay) Reeves and Scott Reeves; step granddaughters.
Due to COVID-19, facial coverings are required. Funeral services will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday, October 14 from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m., with Richard Rothermund officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
