CAROLYN CALDWELL
Carolyn Joan Caldwell, 91, of Powhatan Point, OH., passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Emerald Point Nursing Home, Barnesville, OH. She was born April 3, 1932 in Beallsville, OH., a daughter of the late Lloyd and Laura Decker Hamilton.
Carolyn was a former employee of the Barnesville Sewing Factory and retired from Woodsfield Rehabilitation Center and a member of Beallsville Church of Christ. She was a former member of Beallsville 24, Order of Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Caldwell in 2021; a brother, John Hamilton.
Surviving are her children, Randy Dale (Lori) Caldwell of Powhatan Point, Marla Renee (Ron) Akridge of New Philadelphia, OH; three grandchildren, Luke Caldwell, Rhea Pittman and Bethany Bischoff; five great grandchildren, Gracee Caldwell, Kalisha Caldwell, Emmalynn Pittman, Ian Pittman Simon Bischoff and a baby boy Bischoff due in July; a sister, Nancy Garrison of Beallsville; two brothers, Jerry (Nadine) Hamilton of Beallsville and Jim (Juanita) Hamilton of Barnesville.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 & 5-7 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, OH with funeral services on Monday at 11 am with Pastor Jeff Horner officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
