GWEN BIBEY
Gwen Marie Bibey, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Liza’s Place in Wheeling, West Virginia. Born on August 11, 1935, in Wheeling, she lived a life devoted to her family and faith, reaching the age of 90.
Gwen was a dedicated homemaker, whose love and care were the cornerstone of her family’s home. Her unwavering commitment to her loved ones was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a faithful member of Thoburn United Methodist Church, where she found spiritual nourishment and fellowship.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 55 years, Donald L. Bibey; her parents, Melvin and Helen (Heisey) Stobbs; sisters-in-law, Sharon Cameron and Geri Bibey; her brothers-in-law, Richard Cameron and Denzel Bibey.
Gwen’s legacy lives on through her surviving family: her devoted daughter, Susan (Bud) Beihl; her cherished granddaughter, Jessica Lynn (Kolin) Stanley; and her precious great-grand children, Hudson and Hattie Stanley as well as her brother, Melvin Thomas (Donna) Stobbs. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2 PM until 5 PM at the Care Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, located at 204 W. Main St., St. Clairsville, OH. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Gwen Marie Bibey will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steadfast devotion to her family, and her enduring faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
