She was born March 14, 1939, in Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph Swarnovich and Margaret Savitch Swarnovich. Josephine was a graduate of Moundsville High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had a strong Christian faith. Her artistic ability was amazing, sketching and painting amazing scenes. Ruth Pickenpaugh, 97, of St. Clairsville passed away on February 7, 2025, at Beacon House in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Born on March 13, 1927, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Ford and Anna Louise Smith Heddleson. Ruth was a dairy farmer by trade, and a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville.
