Virginia “Ginny” Baker, 97 of Newark passed away on September 2, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1926 in Charleston, WV. She is survived by her children, Bill (Vicki) Baker III, Marlene (Reg) Pitt, Jenell (John) DeVaul, Dave (Michele) Baker, Tom (Margo) Baker and Lisa (Doug) Dockus; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sister, Peach (Raymond) Doughty; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, William E. Baker, Jr. who she vowed to take care of after his debilitating stroke in 2018 until his death on July 3, 2024; and 3 brothers ...
