Susan Marie Groves, 77, of Barnesville, OH passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born on February 15, 1947, in Steubenville, OH to the late Vernon & Evelyn (Ely) Hubbard. Susan was a 1965 graduate of St Clairsville High School. She was co-owner of Barnesville Nursery School where she was a preschool teacher for 28 years. Susan was involved with the Summer Lunch Program. She had a passion for teaching children and helping others. She loved to read books, camp, bake and cook. Donald Gene Herink, 78, of Brookside, OH passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1946, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late James and Beatrice Herink. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his loving wife Myra (Sommer) Herink of Brookside, OH and sister Shirley (Herink) Krajnyak of Martins Ferry, OH. Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Liz on Saturday July 20, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul Street, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born August 13, 1942, in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Melvin and Hilda (Decker) Adams.
