Hillis Jenewein, 85, of Beallsville, Ohio, and a life-long resident of the community of New Castle in Belmont County, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in the Arbors at Woodsfield. He was born June 9, 1938 on the family farm, a son of the late Vernon Jenewein and Norma Morris Jenewein Hagan. Hillis was a retired employee of the former CONALCO plant near Hannibal, however in his heart and mind, he never retired from the vocation that he loved, farming.
