Marjorie E. (Walker) Patterson, 90 of Martins Ferry passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Park Health Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center in St. Clairsville. She was born November 19, 1933, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Elza and Dorothy (Helt) Walker. Marjorie was devoted to her family, being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother who dedicated the same level of love and care to her family members as her extended family, her friends. Tony Basich passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville. Born September 2, 1930, to the late Pete and Helen Basich in Duncanwood Ohio, he was the younger brother to Louis Basich. Tony and he kept a strong relationship up until his death, often chatting about stories from their youth. Tony graduated from Adena High School in 1948. Going to carpentry school in Bloomington, Illinois, he and his brother Louis worked as self-employed carpenters upon his return.
