LAWRENCE “LARRY” HUNKLER

Lawrence V. “Larry” Hunkler, 92 of Martins Ferry, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Barnesville, the son of the late Dorie and Ann (Fitzgerald) Hunkler. Larry was Catholic by faith, retired from Nickle’s Bakery, and the former Wonder Bakery of Wheeling, a veteran of the US Army Korean War, member of the Bellaire VFW Post 626, Martins Ferry Legion Post #38, Cave Club of Wheeling, and a member of the Belmont County Council Color Guard. Lawrence Paul “Larry” Albright, 93, of Shadyside, OH passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at his home. He was born January 22, 1930 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Paul and Virginia (Weigle) Albright. Larry was a retired foreman for Wheeling Steel-Mingo Junction Mill. He was a methodist by faith and a former member of the Lion’s Club. Above all, he was a loving husband, father and Pappy.
