Judith “Judy” Jean (Mours) Mitchell, 83, of Lansing, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her residence. She was born on November 18, 1939, in the home of her late parents, Joseph and Martha (Roseman) Mours. She was an LPN for 26 years, collected coins, loved flower and vegetable gardening, dancing, and singing Patsy Cline songs. 75th annual Holloway Old Timers Festival kicks off

HOLLOWAY — The 75th annual Holloway Old Timers Festival kicked off Friday featuring food, games, vendors, auctions and music. Organizers spend Friday afternoon completing the final preparations for the event. Vendors and the auction were set up in the Bo Garrett pavilion, named after the organization’s founder. Next to the pavilion, there are signs hung with the names of all of the sponsors and individuals who made donations. He was born September 21, 1928, in Washington, Pennsylvania to Aura Mae Stiers Pollard. With his mother’s early divorce, he never knew his father.
