Jerry Meldrum, 82, passed away on August 31, 2023, in Circleville, OH. He was born on May 13, 1941, in Martins Ferry, OH, to William “Bill” Meldrum and Doris “Dottie” (Moore) Meldrum. Jerry graduated from Martins Ferry High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University. He started his career as a teacher and coach for Whitehall High School but eventually moved into accounting and retired after a successful 30 year career as Treasurer for Crane Plastics. 75th annual Holloway Old Timers Festival kicks off

HOLLOWAY — The 75th annual Holloway Old Timers Festival kicked off Friday featuring food, games, vendors, auctions and music. Organizers spend Friday afternoon completing the final preparations for the event. Vendors and the auction were set up in the Bo Garrett pavilion, named after the organization’s founder. Next to the pavilion, there are signs hung with the names of all of the sponsors and individuals who made donations.
