She was born in Astoria, New York on June 17, 1938, daughter of the late Thrassos Claritis and Stella Panagou Claritis Angeloudakis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Emanuel “Ted” Troullos; a grandson, Roman Troullos; her stepfather, Nicholas Angeloudakis; an infant brother, brother, George Angeloudakis; sister, Mary Claritis.
