Ernest L. “Lonnie” Burroughs, 79, of Cadiz, OH passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Cadiz. He was born April 4, 1943 in Harrisville, OH, a son of the late Robert G. and Eileen Kliner Burroughs. Ernest was retired from the U.S. Army attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam Conflict and also retired as a Corrections Officer in the State of Missouri and was a Methodist by faith. Charles Kovolo, 86, of Shadyside died Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his home He was born February 1, 1937 in Bellaire Ohio, a son of the late John and Ann (Lawrence) Kovolo. Charles was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from Belmont County Schools as a teacher. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where he sang in the choir. Charles also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at the Shadyside Care Center.
