Gene Boyd Thompson, 94, of Barnesville, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at the Barnesville Hospital. Gene was born on September 28, 1928, in Barnesville, a son to the late Dewey and Rebecca (Boyd) Thompson. Gene was a 1946 graduate of Barnesville High School. He retired from Broughton’s Dairy where he delivered milk for thirty-six years. Gene was a member of the Circle of Angels at the Quaker City United Methodist Church and the Broughton Union.
