She was born November 3, 1961 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wanda (Carpenter) and Howard Stoner. Gene Boyd Thompson, 94, of Barnesville, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at the Barnesville Hospital. Gene was born on September 28, 1928, in Barnesville, a son to the late Dewey and Rebecca (Boyd) Thompson. Gene was a 1946 graduate of Barnesville High School. He retired from Broughton’s Dairy where he delivered milk for thirty-six years. Gene was a member of the Circle of Angels at the Quaker City United Methodist Church and the Broughton Union.
