It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Beverly Barcalow Amadio on 11/10/2025 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gerhig’s disease). Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on June 4, 1949, to parents Richard and Elda Barcalow, Beverly grew up in Bridgeport, Ohio and graduated from St. John Central HS in Bellaire, Ohio in 1967. After High School, Beverly worked as a secretary for the State of Ohio Department of Education in St. Clairsville, Ohio for four years while Lou completed college. She was born September 30, 1923, in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Kerkes Olexa. Dorothy was a retired waitress at Chicken in the Ruff and White’s Food Market in Bellaire.
