Gloria Jean Lancaster, 83, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Belmont, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Akron, Ohio. She was born November 14, 1941, in Wells, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Jacobson Erb. Gloria was a human resources director before her retirement. She was a Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Lancaster in 1988, and many siblings. Joseph Zdunczyk, aged 99, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Shadyside, OH. Born on June 8, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph proudly served his country as a WWII Army Veteran and postal worker. A member of the American Legion Post 521 and St. Mary’s Catholic Church , both in Shadyside, OH. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Zdunczyk; his devoted wife, Josephine Koch Zdunczyk; and his son, Joseph Thomas Zdunczyk.
