Wilma V. (McVay) Hannan, 88, of Powhatan Point Ohio passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025 at WVU Medicine, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale West Virginia. Born on June 13, 1937, in Dillies Bottom, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ada Brown and Clifford McVay. Wilma dedicated her life to nurturing her family and serving her community with grace and kindness. Donald L. Daugherty, Jr., 68, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Don was born in Glen Dale, WV on June 19, 1957, he was the son of the late Donald L. and Helena Daugherty-Hawkey who survives him of Bridgeport, OH. He was the owner of the Double D’s Bar BQ. on Glens Run and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church Martins Ferry. MARTHA CIMINI

Martha Lee Cimini, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. She was born on December 20, 1935 in Fairpoint, Ohio to Emilio and Teresa Cimini. She is survived by her brother Udell “Joe” (Joan) Cimini of Florida. A memorial visitation will be held on October 2, 2025, at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He was born on August 15, 1936, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son to the late Chester and Edith (Toland) Schau. Richard pursued his academic ambitions with dedication, earning a Bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Dayton.
