Beer at Zoo
Dear Editor:
Good grief! This is a bad idea.
Selling beer at the Good Zoo! Come on.
One page of The Times Leader has the article “April is Alcohol Awareness Month”, then turn the page and there it is, “Oglebay Zoo may sell beer”.
Tell me, what does having beer at the zoo while with your children/grandchildren and then eventually getting into your car and driving away, portray to them?
Someone tell me what’s the purpose of this idea! Oh, it must be money! Certainly not the safety of the children.
You might re-think this idea, Penny and Ohio County Commissioners.
An upcoming special event day!
Could this be the beginning of something new coming to the zoo!
