Dear Editor,

In response to Mr. Patsche’s Sunday letter to the editor, I would first like to point out that the author of the piece that Ashley Judd performed at the March on Washington is not “unknown.” She is a 19-year-old spoken word poet, Nina Donovan, from Tennessee. Her poem was a direct response to the inequalities in America, Trump’s hateful rhetoric and the fear he has instilled in many of us.

Secondly, no matter how much hate or disgust you hold in your heart for those with a differing opinion (in this case, Ashley Judd) and the courage to speak it, it is not a “good idea” (as you stated in parentheses) for anyone to be subjected to a concentration camp!

The fact that you would request that this comment be printed, much less think it, is truly deplorable.
