New group fights the 1st Amendment

Dear Editor,

I just saw the most fascinating thing this past week. A college in California (Berkley) that was the birthplace of radical free speech became a bastion of censorship. And all this time I thought it was up to us Christians to be the old stogies of political correctness but a new revelation has occurred. It is the youth controlled by the left wing establishment that beats back the 1st amendment right of free speech.

Ah … what better example of George Orwell’s “1984” Oceania and its secret thought police. You can smell the burning from here. The East Germans would be so proud of our places of higher learning. Who needs the Statsi when you have an “enlightened” student body who will report you for being a nonconformist; a person who has an opinion that is outside the collective beehive mind of social engineering that the left has us all marching in lock step must be stopped.

Listen to its incessant beat of the rights of illegal immigrants, sexually promiscuous abortion demands and that good ol’ standby, the rights of the criminal over the rights of the law-abiding citizen. What young person wouldn’t want to stand up for that?

Hey parents, your little snowflakes are being encouraged to go put a mask on their face and set fire to a limo given to a bunch of preachers so that they can pray at a prayer breakfast … those dirty preachers! What would the great fuhrer George Soros say if your little bundles of joy weren’t out there trying to stop freedom of religion? You must be so proud of your kids. And to think, you are only paying the university $20,000 to $30,000 a year to teach your baby how to do this.

Germany had its “brown shirts,” China had its “cultural revolution.” So what do we call America’s college youth in the 21st century? I don’t know, but at least they have a motto they can hang their hat on. They got it back in 2008. “YES WE CAN.”

Yours Truly,

Randy Marple
