Congratulations candidates
Dear Editor,
Congratulations to all local political candidates of the November 2023 elections.
Win or lose, it is gift to present one’s self to serve. And then, “to the victors goes the spoils.”
Many find themselves ridiculed in the media (especially social). It often becomes a “thankless” job.
These elected positions are not for the “faint of heart” or those quick to anger.
God bless all public servants (elected or otherwise). May the “tests of times” find you well.
All current political climate(s) seem dark these days.
May the light be with us all.
