Dear Editor,

I’d like to comment about the 13 year old boy who was shot by Utica, New York, police officers.

With all due respect to the family, this boy and his parents came into the United States to obtain a better life for themselves, although at the tax payers expense. Again.

Since these individuals are gaining access into the United States, would you agree they should be given a Crash Course on American Laws? Then proceed to educate some of the American people on the same laws.

They might learn what it is to engage a police officer instead of running from them when being questioned or pointing unrecognizable objects at them.

Parenting isn’t taken seriously anymore.

Subconsciously, parents seem to forget the whereabouts of their own kids while they are being consumed by TV or their computers.

In conclusion, don’t view our law enforcement as a problem dealing with YOUR own stupidity.
