I must admit my first inclination after the assassination attempt this past weekend was to write a scathing letter condemning the mainstream media, the Biden-Obama administration, the Democrat office holders, RINO’s, never Trumpers, the leaders of federal agencies appointed by Biden, college professors, etc., but now …

The American public has for the most part awakened. They don’t need these liars anymore. The veil has been removed from American eyes and they have discovered just how corrupt and evil these groups really are.

These groups will spin away with their diatribes but they have, in old biblical terms, “been found wanting.” Their rhetoric, like the Pharaoh of Moses’ time, has turned the curses they meant for another back upon themselves.

No, my letter is for you, my neighbor. Many now look back on 2020 with sincere regret. Your life isn’t the one you expected for you or your family. It is now filled with inflation, insecure borders, protests, child mutilation for ideologies, gas prices, drugs, rape, death, world stage embarrassment, endless threats of war and actual war and useless squandering of taxpayer money. It hasn’t even been four years into the Biden term.

I know you are tired of it. I study this every day and write letters and speak to groups and even do small podcasts. It tires me too.

So may I make a suggestion? First, pray to Jesus. Tell Him your pain and suffering. Second, read your Bible. Learn and understand what real “truth and life” is all about. And third, and this may sound strange to many, tell the Lord you repent of any sin you feel is killing you inside. Try to live life as Jesus would want you to.

Now that doesn’t mean you become some useless pew sitting Christian. No! It means it gives you a fearlessness to fight for what is right and good in the sight of God. God is watching us. Be kind and helpful where needed but roar like a lion and speak truth to the lies that inundate everything around us. We all need to be Deitrich Bonhoeffers now.

And maybe, just maybe, God will look down upon this Nineveh called America and see the broken spirits of a contrite nation’s heart and heal our land.
