Dear Editor, Give ’em Hell was usually a moniker reserved for Harry Truman. Now though, President Joe Biden has earned that Sobriquet even more than Harry. Give’m hell, Joe! Joe has the Republicans sputtering, gasping and spitting due to Joe’s achievements in less than two years in office and with only 50 votes in the 100 seat Senate and a margin of only four in the House. Dear Editor, I think it is a disgrace that the President and Vice President would openly and publicly slam the Roe vs Wade decision of the Supreme Court Justice’s, regardless of their own personal opinion but have failed to arrest and prosecute the people who protested in front of the Justices’ homes and totally ignoring the death threat to Justice Brett Kavenaugh. Dear Editor, I am a retired federal employee writing to raise awareness of the devastating effects of the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) experienced by nearly 2 million people. This policy reduces the earned Social Security benefits of local, state and federal retirees who worked in Social Security-covered private-sector employment, and who also earned an annuity from their non-Social Security covered government employment. The WEP can result in a monthly Social Security benefit that is $512 lower than deserved, causing undue financial distress Why should we be penalized ...
