The Storm spent Thanksgiving weekend in the nation’s 49th state, taking part in the North Star Invitational. Departing Ohio, Lake Erie, which features River grad Lauren Flannery, had yet to win a game but came home with three victories and a tournament championship. The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference will be entering unchartered waters this season when the OVAC Ron Mauck Tournament invades downtown Wheeling’s WesBanco Arena for its annual three-day stay in mid-January.
