St. C. tennis experienced

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — J.C. Yevincy finds the 2021 St. Clairsville tennis season to be one filled with “great promise.”
The Red Devils have strong numbers on both the boys and girls teams with a solid mixture of returnees and newcomers.
The returning seeded female players include seniors Kellen Weidman and Breanna Sproul.
The junior class consists of Brooke Chamberlain, Kadaira Fordyce, Samantha Orr, Helena Crain and Emma Poe.
Five players — Emma Gazdik, Annie Stroud, Marie Copeland, Lydia Wees and Jenna Gorza — are out for the first time.
On the boys’ side, four returning seeded players lead the way. They include Alex Douglass, Evan Holstein, Shane Jackson and Brandon Kralovic.
Newcomers to the program include Anthony Verardi, Michael Phillips, Ethan Miller and Jack Koontz.
Yevincy’s coaching staff includes Missy Gossett, Jimmy Allen and Mark Kefalos.
