Richard Conley 69, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the University of Maryland after a long battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Vincent (Pete) and Virginia Conley.

He leaves his wife Pat of 23 years, step children, Bonnie Granitski (Mark), Shane Granitski (Lisa); Jason Granitski (Tammi) brothers sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

After graduating from St. Clairsville High School in 1966 He trimmed trees for a living until becoming a proud coal miner for over 38 yrs. He retired in 2006 from Ohio Valley Coal 6. He then went to work for Belmont Hills Country Club as a greens mower. This became his passion.

Growing up on a farm was a life he cherished. He loved the outdoors and all animals, liked to build bird houses and loved Nascar, being a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.

Funeral arrangements were done privately.
