At 11:24 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from the 202 Fuel Stop on Barnesville-Hendrysburg Road reported that a male subject in a hooded sweatshirt robbed him at gunpoint. The caller said he never saw the gun, but saw something pointy hidden in his sweatshirt. The caller gave officials a description of the man, who he said demanded money, but the caller told him “no.” A be-on-the-lookout report was issued for a vehicle that reportedly headed toward the interstate.

At 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy was out with a group loitering at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. Vehicles were clearing out, according to the report.

At 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on National Road in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for no headlights.

At 9:28 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a DOA at an address on Farmington Road in Bridgeport.

At 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to a report of a dog inside a vehicle with the windows rolled up and the air conditioner not running at West Texas Roadhouse on National Road in St. Clairsville. The vehicle’s owner was located inside the restaurant, and the air conditioning was turned on, the report stated.

At 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy and Bridgeport police responded to a report of a male who was assaulted by a female at an address on Truman Avenue in Bridgeport. The male was being transported to East Ohio Regional Hospital with no visible injuries. An argument led to a fan being thrown, according to the report, which was to be forwarded for pending charges.
