ARTSLINK PRESENTS Rodney Marsalis and the Philadelphia Big Brass at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Tyler Consolidated High School. This free concert is being presented thanks to funding from the Stealey Community Fund. Due to construction, park in the lower lot to the right of the bridge. There is handicap parking available in the loop and an elevator. Funding for this program is made possible with assistance from West Virginia Northern Community College, WETZ/WYMJ Radio, EQT Foundation, and Antero Foundation. This program is presented with financial assistance from the WV Department of Arts, Culture and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.

BRILLIANT AMERICAN Legion has resumed its weekly fish frys every Friday from Oct. 4 until Nov. 22. After a break for the holidays, the fish frys will resume on Feb. 21 and run through April 18. The menu includes a choice of Coleman’s fish, chicken planks, shrimp, wing dings or fish nuggets. All of the above can be bought as dinners or smaller portion baskets. Dinners come with bread, french fries and coleslaw. Onion rings can be substituted for an additional $1. Other menu items include hush puppies, mozzarella sticks and hot or mild cheese balls. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Orders can be called in to 740-598-3515. The legion is located at 210 Market St., Brilliant. Limited delivery will be available.
