At 10:50 p.m. Monday, a caller from Markatan Street in Flushing reported someone tried to break into her house. A deputy responded and patrolled the area but did not locate anyone.
At 7:42 p.m. Monday, a 911 hangup call was received from an address on National Road in Morristown. There was no answer on callback. A deputy responded and reported all was well there – they never called, according to the report.
At 6:59 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a male driving a truck almost hit kids riding bikes on Maumee Road in Wayne Township.
At 5:06 p.m. Monday, units responded to Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire for a report of people fighting. According to the report, they were fighting over a cat. The cat was to be picked up, and the property manager told a deputy that he wanted the family trespassed from the property.
At 2:19 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire after a caller reported that someone broke out a window within the past day.
At 2:56 p.m. Monday, a deputy was out at an address on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire following up on an eviction from a previous call.
At 8:42 a.m. Monday, a deputy was out with a disabled vehicle with West Virginia plates on National Road in St. Clairsville. Bill’s towing was called to the scene, and the deputy helped direct traffic.

Saturday, March 15
1:58 a.m. — Bridgeport officers came on station for an OVI test. Bridgeport officers were assisted giving the test.
3:25 a.m. — Officers were called to DeHass Street about a male who ran up on a porch and was banging on their door. The caller stated the male left and was heading north on DeHass Street. The caller was unable to give a description. Officers arrived and had negative contact with the suspect. The caller was advised officers would do extra patrols in the area.
10:30 a.m. — Officer made another attempt to contact the suspect from an incident Friday with a woman stealing a package off a porch. Negative contact was made.
10:39 a.m. — Dispatch was called for a requested welfare check on Center Street for a male. Contact was made with the male, and he was advised to call his sister.
10:45 a.m. — Dispatch received a call about a possible domestic dispute in the 700 block of Indiana Street. Officers arrived and contacted the alleged victim, who stated she and her boyfriend were arguing and that he would not give her keys that belonged to her. The male was located, and the keys were obtained. Both parties were advised that if they continued to fight, they both would be charged. Officers cleared.
1:05 p.m. — Officers made a traffic stop on Aetna Street for a traffic violation. Officers noticed a small amount of marijuana outside of its correct container. A warning was given.
1:56 p.m. — Officers made a traffic stop on Aetna Street for a vehicle speeding. The identity was verified for the driver. Warning for speed was issued.
3:03 p.m. — Officers assisted Bridgeport with a traffic stop.
4:53 p.m. — Dispatch received a call about a box on Ohio 7 near Mackey Avenue. Officers responded and removed the box.
7:44 p.m. — Officers made a traffic stop for a moving violation on Hickory Street. The driver and passengers were identified and a warning was given to the driver.
7:57 p.m. — Dispatch received a call from a female stating that a group of about 10 juveniles were arguing in the parking lot across the street from her house. Officers arrived and spoke to the juveniles and advised them to break it up and to stay off private property.
8:29 p.m. — Officers received a call to assist Bridgeport units for a fight at a bar on Main Street. All parties were separated, and the aggressor left before officers arrived.
9:34 p.m. — Dispatch received a call stating that her brother was assaulted by a known male and needs police and EMS at his residence on Center Street. Officers arrived at this male’s residence to speak to him. The male does not want to pursue any charges and went with EMS to get checked.
9:59 p.m. — A male came on station to report his juvenile son has been receiving threats from adults. The male was advised to return with his statement, and charges will be forwarded to the Belmont County Prosecutor’s Office.
10:59 p.m. — Dispatch received a call from a mother of a juvenile on Hickory Street about her juvenile daughter being assaulted near the park. Officers and EMS arrived and made contact with the family. The family does not want to file charges at this time, but statement forms were left if they change their mind. Officers cleared.
11:48 p.m. — Officers assisted Bridgeport units on a traffic stop on North Lincoln Avenue.
