Joan Marie Maroon, 84, of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Wheeling Continuous Care Center. She was born January 1, 1941; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Diehl) Maroon.

Joan was a retired hairstylist for the former Hub Department Store in Steubenville, and a Flight attendant for Lake Central Airline of Indianapolis, IND. She was a proud graduate of St. John Central High School in Bellaire, OH, and was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, sister-in-law, Kathy Maroon, and brother-in-law Tony Grossi.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Abbey Maroon of St. Clairsville and sister, Carol Grossi of Winter Spring FL. Nieces and nephews, Angie (Bob) Figura, Joey (Dawn) Maroon, Lenora (Al) Davies, Vanessa (Dean) Burk all of St. Clairsville, Mary Beth (Philip) DeVita of Apopka, FL, Cecilia (Gene) Angel of Orlando, FL, Great nieces and nephews, Lauren Figura, Abbey and Joey Maroon, Anna and Jake Davies, Deea and Dino Burk, Trent (Shanna) Angel and , Gina (Garett) Norvell, Philip, Anthony and Joseph DeVita Great-great nephew, Braxton Figura, and a Great-great niece Isabella Angel.

Private Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, the burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH.
