St. C. Legion Falls In Myrtle Beach
MYRTLE BEACH – A five-run second inning spelled disaster for St. Clairsville Post 159 in its opening game of the Palmetto Invitational as it dropped a 7-2 decision to the Fighting 63rd 18U.
Nico Jacob singled three times for Post 159, while Cole Bowers and Hunter Mueller each had RBI singles.
Dylan Blon took the loss. He struck out two and walked three in four-plus innings of work.
St. Clairsville resumes action today when it plays Horry, N.C. at 10 a.m. and Beckley, WVa., at 12:30 p.m. Both games are at St. James High School.
