An officer responded and took information for the hit-skip accident report. There was property damage only. The officer was to follow up with the manager for video footage of the incident.
-- 10:23 p.m., a caller from the Belle Village Apartments on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire reported that people were in the laundry room messing with her clothes. Units responded. Both parties were advised to "act like adults" and try not to cross paths with each other again that evening, according to the report.
-- 9:41 p.m., a caller from an address on Oak Hill Road in Flushing reported hearing loud noises coming from the well pad. A deputy spoke with a worker, who advised it was a compressor going off.
-- 7:34 p.m., a caller from an address on National Road in Bridgeport reported an elderly female was on his front porch yelling and screaming. She was upset that someone had parked in front of the ramp to her house. An officer responded, as did a unit from the police department. They left, and all was well, according to the report.
-- 4:23 p.m., units followed up on an online crime submission reporting that a complainant’s debit card was charged about $176 at the Pilot Travel Center in Belmont on Aug. 11. The complainant requested that a record be placed on file and started a fraud report with her bank.
-- 12:08 p.m., deputies responded to the Glenwood Village Apartments on Belmont Street in Belmont after a caller requested that her husband be removed. A female complainant reported that she filed a temporary protection order that day at the courthouse and that he was moving his things out of their apartment. Parties were advised of their options, according to officers, who noted that the protection order had not yet been signed.
-- 9:59 a.m., an officer was flagged down on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville and was told that a man wrapped in a blanket was behind Lowe’s Home Improvement. An officer took the man to the Guernsey County line.
-- 8:13 a.m., an officer was on patrol in the school zone outside Bellaire Elementary School on Pike Street in Bellaire.
-- 7:52 a.m., a deputy was on patrol in the school zone outside Bridgeport Schools on Industrial Drive in Bridgeport.
-- 7:39 a.m., an officer was on patrol in the school zone outside Bellaire Middle School on Neffs-Bellaire Road in Bellaire.
-- 7:09 a.m., a deputy was on patrol in the school zone outside Union Local Middle School on Belmont-Morristown Road in Belmont.
-- 6 a.m., a unit on a traffic stop on Marietta and Newall streets in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Indiana motorist for driving with no tail lights.

-- 10:52 p.m., a caller reported two males in an older pickup truck were on his property on Johnson South Road in Bethesda and were acting suspiciously. Units responded. One male said the property owner asked him to leave, so he was leaving. The other male reportedly was with a broken-down four-wheeler. According to the report, one male was identified but declined to say who the other male was. The identified male left. Officers looked for the other male but did not locate him.
-- 9:40 p.m., an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 215 issued a verbal warning to a New Jersey motorist for their driving habits.
-- 9:36 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle parked outside Walmart in the Ohio Valley Plaza in St. Clairsville. The person reportedly was sleeping in the vehicle with tape over the driver’s side window. An officer responded but did not locate anything suspicious.
-- 9:31 p.m., a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 216 issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for traveling outside marked lanes.
-- 8:37 p.m., a deputy responded to an address on Reasbeck Grove Road in Martins Ferry to follow up on an online crime submission. A complainant said she clicked an ad for a giveaway and supplied her information, then began receiving vulgar videos from an individual out of state. The complainant’s mother advised the deputy that she already had reported the matter to the FBI and wanted a record on file.
-- 7:49 p.m., units responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a home on Bannock-Uniontown Road in Wheeling Township. There were no signs of forced entry, and the only items missing were five collectible toy tractors. Information was taken for a report and forwarded to the detective division.
-- 5:43 p.m., units responded to Sally Beauty on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville after a caller reported a female was on the phone screaming profanities at people.
-- 4:38 p.m., an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 southbound at 48th Street in Bellaire issued a warning to a motorist for an improper lane change.
-- 3:24 p.m., an officer was at an address on Buena Vista Drive in St. Clairsville to serve eviction papers.
-- 3:01 p.m., a caller from an address on Jacobsburg-Key Road in Jacobsburg reported batteries and fuel were taken from his construction equipment. An officer responded and took information for a larceny report.
-- 8:54 a.m., a deputy was flagged down by a female at an address on East High Street in Flushing. The female complained about a dog barking. A unit also was at an address on East 29th Street, according to the report.
-- 8:29 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked by the dumpster behind the Convenient Food Market on East High Street in Flushing. The truck had been there since the weekend. A deputy responded and reported both passenger-side tires had come off the rims and were flat. The vehicle was to be towed.
-- 1:40 a.m., officers assisted Bellaire Police with a report of signs being taken and dumped at the Bellaire ball field. Units responded to 26th Street.
-- 12:29 a.m., an officer on a traffic stop on the North Lincoln Avenue overpass issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for failure to display. There was no visible tag on the vehicle, the officer reported.
